Chapter Text

“Let’s go to my place,” Taehyung said, turning around to walk towards the door.

“What?” Jimin breathed out.

“You owe me quite an explanation, don’t you?” the alpha questioned, stopping to glance at the omega, “I’d love to hear why you snitch on my club, but that better be done in privacy.”

“I’m not going anywhere with you,” Jimin took a step back.

Taehyung quirked up his eyebrow and shook his head at the omega’s answer, “There are two ways of resolving this. Either peacefully, as someone I’ve considered mine, or well, violence.”

“You’re going to hurt me?” the stripper trembled. His voice cracked and he couldn’t believe how quickly he got scared.

“If you choose violence? Of course,” Taehyung chuckled, “I might enjoy fucking you and kissing behind closed doors, but business is business. And you’re trying to deceive the wrong guy.”

“So, I don’t mean anything to you? You’d hurt me?” Jimin repeated, letting his eyes slip into a golden glow.

“Darling,” the alpha scoffed, “I just caught you stealing footage from me. Get in the car right now or you won’t ever leave this club.”

The omega shivered and gave up, calmly following Vante towards his Porsche that was parked outside. He knew he didn’t have much of a say anymore. The alpha saw him copying all of the videos from the cams. Now the question was, what type of lies was Jimin going to tell him? It didn’t help that the omega had only recently admitted his feelings towards Taehyung. Was he actually ready to throw it all away?

The car ride was silent, and Taehyung didn’t bother to open the passenger’s door for Jimin like he used to before. Clearly, the alpha was annoyed, but didn’t want to show it too much. Frankly, Taehyung wasn’t sure what to do. He liked the omega and got used to the idea of keeping him safe even though he had multiple thoughts about the stripper. He was too intelligent and perceptive to be a worker at the club. Also, Jimin had been curious about the alpha since the beginning, especially to get his name. Perhaps, Lee Jaemin was a cop? Taehyung also quickly realized that the name was fake. He did a background check on it when he heard it from Namjoon and only found some lousy high school degree that made no sense. Taehyung wasn’t easy to lie to and he hated the lack of honesty. Even for Jimin, he wasn’t going to tolerate it.

“Champagne?” Taehyung asked, taking his tie off.

“No thank you,” Jimin said quietly.

“Go to the bedroom, then,” Taehyung ordered, reaching out to grab the bottle. Just because Jimin refused, didn’t mean the alpha wouldn’t have a glass.

“What?” Jimin asked, “I don’t think you want me to sleep with you?”

“Why not?” Taehyung retorted, “Maybe we should film that too, so you’d have something fun to sell.” The omega’s lips parted, and he tried to answer, when the alpha added, “We’ve fucked at the club. Did you show that to your boss? Or cut it out?”

Jimin’s scent strengthened and he answered, “I’m not going to let you fuck me right now when you’re being so disrespectful.”

“Disrespectful?” Taehyung laughed, downing his glass of champagne. He put the empty cup on the dining table and walked towards Jimin, making him back away towards the wall. The omega’s breath was short, and he stood frozen, looking at the alpha. “You’re the one who’s trying to screw me over. You’re lucky you’re still alive.”

“Then kill me,” Jimin said, challenging the alpha, “If you’re waiting for me to apologize, you’re wasting time.”

Taehyung suddenly grabbed Jimin and turned him around. His hands were harsh, but he didn’t grip hard enough to actually hurt the omega. He pressed his fingers on Jimin’s neck and moved the collar of his sweater to check the skin.

“I don’t belong to a gang,” Jimin answered, knowing what Taehyung was looking for. A tattoo.

“Then, you’re a good boy who’s trying to catch the bad guy,” Taehyung mocked, “But you got lost on the job and ended up liking me. I give you the thrill you need from life, huh? You want to be around someone dangerous, you enjoy the way you can’t predict my next step?” The alpha came closer and pressed his body against Jimin’s back, making him freeze in spot.

Taehyung’s warmth felt so good. The alpha was near, still holding onto Jimin’s neck, but this time his nose was moving near the omega’s earlobe, making it tickle. They were in the middle of a crucial fight and all Jimin could think of was to push his ass back and beg for the alpha to kiss him.

“Vante,” Jimin whimpered.

“Acted all tough and now look at you,” the alpha spat, “You won’t talk now but I can make you talk.” Jimin closed his eyes when Taehyung’s hand slid down from his stomach towards his cock. “You wanted to fuck today, right? Then let’s do it.”

“But it was before-” the omega tried saying.

“Before I caught you trying to fucking snitch,” Taehyung finished. “Doesn’t matter, you can still get my dick, is that not what you want? You’re responding quite eagerly.”

Jimin moaned when he rolled his hips a little, trying to get a better feel of the alpha’s dick between his ass cheeks. He was so close, they could be doing what worked best again, lost in desire and their sparkling adoration. If only-

“Fine,” Jimin gave up, “Fine, take me to the bedroom, I want it.”

“Bedroom? Do traitors like you deserve that?” The omega gasped and felt how Taehyung stepped away from him completely. “Bend over the table,” the alpha ordered.

Jimin’s face got pale and his eyes fell to the ground. He wanted his Vante, not to be fucked like a meaningless hook up. They were more now. “Alpha,” he decided to get something better.

“I didn’t trust you since the beginning,” Taehyung admitted, “You’ve been too successful at stripping. I was too drawn to you to deny myself the sex, and the only moment I believed you was when you told me you liked me. You’ve betrayed me. How am I meant to know if your words were real? Maybe you’re trying to get more information out of me by playing with my feelings. You don’t deserve anything but taking my cock as some random.”

Jimin felt as if he got slapped across the face. Taehyung was right. Jimin was snaking him all along and lying about his identity. It was natural that the alpha thought everything the omega had told him was fake. The omega let out a shaky breath and asked, “If I bend down and take it like you’re offering, will you believe that those three words were real?”

“No,” Taehyung answered, waiting for Jimin to make the decision.

“But if you never believed me, then why did you let me fall for you? Why were you that kind? You courted me all this time, kept bringing me gifts and showered me with-” Jimin’s words cut and he added shakily, “Affection. You gave me affection. It was real.”

“I might be easy to manipulate to some extent,” Taehyung replied, “couldn’t help myself when you were so perfect, angel. But I’m not fucking stupid. My shot was you being some ex member of a gang or maybe you were an ex lover of some alpha? You’re used to dangerous and you like that. It’s so obvious. But now that I know you’ve been purposely working at the club to get information, I won’t be lenient with you anymore. It’s so funny, Jimin. You’re scamming me and the person you’re working for as well. You’re making millions of wons at the club and all of that money is yours. That boss must have no idea.”

Jimin bit on his lip and said, “It’s my hard work, he doesn’t deserve a cut from it.”

“He’s keeping you at the club to spy, not be a cumrag for alphas that will tip you.”

Jimin’s eyes prickled with tears and he answered, in an ice-cold tone, “I’m not that.”

“What? A cumrag? Aren’t you, darling? Alphas pay to watch you dance and they touch themselves to the sight. They cum right at your feet.”

“But not on me.”

Taehyung scoffed, “That’s barely a difference. They see you as one. You’re just an easy outlet from stress to them.”

“I don’t care. I’m getting wealthy.”

The alpha smiled widely like a madman and shook his head at the omega, “Oh darling. Nothing in business comes for free. You’re either getting fucked over by me or the other boss.”

Taehyung took a step closer and looked down on Jimin, connecting their eyes. His irises turned crimson and he bit back his instinct to make the omega submit. He wouldn’t, no matter how angry deep inside he was. Taehyung was prepared to let himself do something crazy and uncalculated by taking in Jimin, caring for him and allowing himself to feel more. Only to get betrayed days later. Yet, he still refused to silence the omega like he did with every other enemy or traitor.

“Alpha,” Jimin lifted up his arms, intending to place his palms on the taller’s chest. Before they reached it, he curled up his fingers, leaving the fists up in the air.

“What? There’s no saving yourself from this. Turn around.”

Jimin whined. He knew he wouldn’t get the alpha’s mercy or forgiveness. Not unless he did what was expected of him. Maybe, if he showed Vante that he was on his side, the alpha would be more lenient and believe that the “I like you” was as real as possible.

Jimin wasn’t sure why he adored the alpha so much. He was a criminal, a rude and ruthless man, but the way he treated the omega was completely different. He cared about every detail, hoped to make Jimin feel good and important. Jimin had never been treated that way. His life was a mess, he made countless mistakes and quick decisions that led him into getting lost between Park Jimin, Lee Jaemin and Chim. He had three identities and neither felt real. The only true thing at this point was his fluttering heart whenever he was by the alpha.

“I’m sorry, Vante,” Jimin whispered, turning around and resting his forearms on the table. He bent down, perking his ass out and waited.

He heard a mocking laugh and tilted his head to look at the alpha. “You see me so low, don’t you?” Taehyung questioned bitterly, “You really think I’d fuck someone I adore like this? You don’t even want it, do you genuinely believe this is how I’d treat you? I’m not interested in such pity sex. Get the fuck up and either tell me who you really are or leave before I stop hesitating.”

“Alpha, please,” Jimin said, his voice strained and tired, “I’m sorry, I’m fucking sorry for being a snake and stealing information and trying to frame you or actually, just rat out your identity because you’re actually guilty of everything I’ve found. I’m sorry for continuing to fuck with you and for pretending to be a stupid stripper. I’m sorry for deceiving you, but I meant it when I told you I liked you. I do, I so fucking do even when I should be staying the fuck away from you. I have enough evidence to cuff you up yet here I am, agreeing to give myself to you.”

“Cuff me up,” Taehyung chuckled, “So you’re a cop? Are you dreaming of a higher position that you decided to sell your own body? Is that how much you love that bullshit called law? What has it done for you in return? Because I’m pretty sure the answer is absolutely fucking nothing.”

Jimin’s heart sped up and he lost the words that kept spiraling in his head. He couldn’t quite grasp how Taehyung always had the right thing to say. He was right. He nearly got Jimin’s profession in the span of a few minute talk, when the omega was barely the one to speak in the first place. Jimin underestimated Taehyung and he only realized that when he got closer to the alpha. This was a dangerous play and it was too late to back out. Not when Jimin got caught in his lies.

“Your scent,” Taehyung pointed out, “You probably learned how to control it, so I can’t even rely on it. You’re nothing to me at this point, Chim. Jaemin? Whoever the fuck you are.”

“Jimin,” the omega whispered, his eyes shining golden and getting glassy. “My name is Jimin, that’s why I loved it when you used Minie. It really felt like you were talking to me.”

“And whose fault is it that I didn’t fall for the real you, huh?” Taehyung asked, “You’re the one lying to me.”

“You did though,” Jimin retorted, “Whenever I was with you, it really did feel like I could just be myself. I’ve started to learn how to be myself again.”

“Jimin,” Taehyung cleared his throat. He was weakening under the omega’s pleading eyes and sad, bitter scent.

“Alpha, please,” Jimin whined, finally fisting the alpha’s shirt on his chest. He flushed their bodies together and tiptoed to reach Taehyung’s lips.

The alpha let Jimin kiss him, sliding their lips together gently, but hungrily. It got sloppy and soon enough, their tongues were tasting their mouths, and both kept panting heavily, refusing to pull back. Taehyung hooked his hands under the omega’s thighs and lifted him up. He put Jimin on the table and pushed him down a bit, too lost in the feeling of Jimin’s lips on his and the omega’s arms hugging him close. Nothing here felt fake. Their feelings were raw and genuine, and Taehyung couldn’t stop himself from basking in the omega’s sweetness and deceiving words. He wanted him so badly, he wanted the Jimin he had during the past weeks, the one that felt so warm against him and the one that always begged him for more and most importantly, trusted his antics no matter how weird or out of place they were. Taehyung wanted him. Badly.

There was no way Jimin could’ve been faking right now, right? He was just as lost and into Taehyung as the alpha was with him. This was just a moment between them, a few minutes during which they could forget about who they were. This was just an alpha and an omega who were highly compatible and yearning for each other.

“Alpha,” Jimin breathed out, catching a break, “I like you, please believe me.”

Taehyung suddenly froze. He noticed his hands resting on the table, on both sides of Jimin and caging him in between. Their lips were less than an inch apart. Jimin’s legs were gently squeezing the alpha and his arms were tightly around Taehyung’s waist. The omega kept looking at the alpha with sparkly eyes, hoping to catch him breaking.

Jimin’s hand moved and he placed it on the alpha’s cheek, softly caressing the rosy skin. “Baby?” he whispered, giving the alpha’s lips a short kiss, “Please. I need you so much. Don’t leave me.”

“You’re lying,” Taehyung groaned, “Stop fucking with my head, Jimin. I don’t want this.”

The alpha didn’t move, though. He closed his eyes, calming down when receiving the gentle thumb rubs over his cheek. Jimin smiled a little, despite of how badly the words hurt him. “It’s just me, I’m not snitching or snaking right now. I’m just fighting for my alpha.”

“I don’t want to be your alpha. I don’t trust you.”

“I’ll earn it,” Jimin muttered, wrapping his arms around the taller’s shoulders and bringing him close into a tight hug.

Taehyung tried resisting, but the omega holding onto him felt too homely. The alpha needed affection like anyone else, no matter how much he denied himself of it. A cold life was easier to maintain. But Jimin showed up and turned Taehyung’s standards around, even if the alpha knew that wasn’t a smart decision. Feelings were something that weren’t possible to control. Taehyung developed a type of fondness towards Jimin, that he wasn’t able to push away. That was why he let the omega cling onto him.

Jimin wrapped his legs around Taehyung’s hips and the alpha picked him up, heading towards the bedroom without a word. He really didn’t want to let the issue go and he didn’t believe Jimin’s words at all. Maybe, sex would make the omega talk. And if not, their story would end just like that.

Taehyung pushed Jimin onto the bed and quickly took off his own shirt, throwing it somewhere down onto the ground. The alpha left the light in the room turned off, not really wanting to look at Jimin too much. He was hurt and tormented by the omega’s actions. Seeing his beautiful eyes that were just confirmed to have been betraying Taehyung for weeks, would’ve been too much.

“Alpha,” Jimin squirmed on the bed, ridding himself of his clothes.

Taehyung snapped his own belt and undid his slacks, pushing them down. He was mostly driven by instinct, but he also knew exactly what he was doing. Just because he had a moment of weakness, didn’t mean he’d let go of Jimin’s fuck up.

“Stay on your back,” Taehyung ordered.

Jimin’s eyes widened, but he didn’t move an inch. His legs were wide opened, and the alpha could already smell the enticing scent of the omega’s slick dripping onto the sheets.

“How fucked up is it, Jimin?” Taehyung asked, leaning down and grazing his teeth over the omega’s lower stomach. They were both completely naked and at this point, it felt natural to them. They spent more time with each other without clothes rather than dressed.

“Huh?” the omega breathed out shakily.

“What have you done to me? And you think it’s okay to just lay here and expect me to fuck you?”

“Don’t you want to?” Jimin questioned quietly, desperate to make the alpha believe his confession was real.

“Physically, yeah. I want to fuck you until you beg me to stop. But mentally, I resent you so much. I don’t want to be touching you.”

Jimin’s breath stopped and he tangled his fingers into the alpha’s hair, “Please don’t say that. Please. I have some dirt on me, but with you, I’m myself.”

“You can’t just separate yourself from that snitch, darling,” Taehyung snarled, “It doesn’t fucking work like that. If you meant it, before the first time we kissed, you would’ve stopped having a double life. Don’t you think I’d protect you from that other boss?”

Jimin shivered under the alpha’s sweet kisses over his stomach, “He won’t hurt me,” Jimin answered, “You’re the dangerous one.”

Taehyung laughed loudly and looked up at Jimin, “Evil? Dangerous? How am I any of that, Jimin? What am I doing right now?” he asked, sliding his hand ever so gently, down the omega’s thigh. He curled his palm a bit and moved it lower, reaching Jimin’s rim.

“Because you’re my good alpha,” Jimin whined, darting his head back. “But you’re also a fucking criminal that deserves a life sentence.”

Taehyung’s eyes narrowed and gripped the omega’s thigh, making him hiss in pain. It was a warning. “Who are you to judge me?”

“A regular citizen.”

“You’re not a regular. You think you’re as cunning as me, but you’re nowhere near.”

“We’ll see about that.”

Taehyung growled and pushed three fingers into the omega, without warning. Jimin cried out and grabbed the sheets. He shut his eyes and tried to relax. His body adjusted quite quickly, since he got used to Taehyung and his size. It didn’t mean, though, that Jimin didn’t understand the message behind that. You’re on my mercy, was what Taehyung was trying to say.

“Vante?” Jimin hummed, breathing heavily. He was both aroused, scared and felt guilty. He knew the alpha didn’t believe his sincerity, since he had all the reasons not to. But to Jimin, that was most important. He wanted Taehyung to believe his feelings. The alpha’s were clear and his breakdown this night showed it. Jimin couldn’t let Taehyung believe it was one-sided.

“I’ll submit,” Jimin said, opening his eyes to glance at the alpha.

Taehyung seemed surprised. He remembered their conversation weeks ago and how Jimin admitted he wouldn’t let an alpha control him during sex. But right now, he was offering himself? What if it was another sick game the omega was trying to pull?

“I want to show you that I trust you. I’ll let you do anything you wish. I want to feel yours, alpha,” Jimin added.

“Told you I don’t want to be your alpha,” Taehyung muttered, still pumping his fingers into the omega’s rim.

“Really? You don’t want to bite me and feel my real emotions? Read my heart? Aren’t you curious? I can’t fake anything once I submit to you. You’ll own me until I come.”

Taehyung frowned. Jimin was right. Submitting worked a bit like a mating bond. Its effect was weaker and temporary, nonetheless something that was real. So primal and raw, that their werewolves would speak through them and guide them into the right direction. What if Jimin has been honest all along and genuinely liked Taehyung? The alpha could find out. Jimin just gave him consent.

Taehyung wasn’t keen on the idea, though. He didn’t want to realize that Jimin did indeed like him, adore him or began falling in love. Now, after a confirmation that Jimin was snaking him, their story didn’t have a happy end anyway. Taehyung knew he should plan on silencing Jimin, but could he bring himself to it? Definitely not after knowing that Jimin told him the truth.

“Alpha, please,” Jimin sniffled, finally letting tears stream down his face. “Please, just allow me to submit to you, even if it’s the last time I’m seeing you, I want this for us. Let me have a night with a loved one. Please.” Jimin was desperate enough to beg. He wasn’t Jaemin or Chim or even Jimin anymore, he was darling. He was Taehyung’s omega or at least wanted to feel like it just for a few minutes.

Taehyung broke. He couldn’t keep saying no. Not when Jimin’s scent was full of sorrow and sadness. He could grant the omega one last wish, right? Before he either decided to kill him or cut him out of his life.

Taehyung moved up and placed his hand, covered in warm and sticky slick, on the omega’s waist. Jimin didn’t even flinch when Taehyung’s short breaths ghosted over his shoulder. He was ready to have his alpha take control over him and for the first time, he wasn’t afraid of giving himself to someone. He didn’t have anything to lose. Taehyung could’ve easily killed him if he wanted to. But no, they were together in bed, trying to solve their mess by the only thing they knew how to do. Talking came simply to neither of them, but sex was something they both mastered. They fell for each other during it, maybe they could also speak their minds this way?

Taehyung lowered his head and Jimin mewled when he felt the alpha’s teeth sink into his neck. It hurt just a little, but the omega’s body immediately filled up with warmth. His wolf felt full and satisfied, wanted and cared for. An alpha’s bite worked almost like a promise. He was going to be there for Jimin. The omega’s mind wrapped itself around that thought, completely dismissing what was really happening. Right now, he was Taehyung’s. His alpha’s.

Jimin sighed sweetly when Taehyung pulled back. The alpha stared at the omega and sensed both of their heartbeats rise. Jimin looked so content and peaceful, the alpha didn’t want to disturb him. Was it real? Did Jimin actually feel safe with him?

“Alpha,” Jimin whispered, smiling softly, “I need you.”

Taehyung didn’t hesitate anymore. Jimin belonged to him right now and he was going to satisfy him, cherish him and make sure he deserved the omega’s trust. “I know, baby,” he whispered, shifting on the bed. Taehyung quickly put on a condom and slipped his cock into the omega’s warm, inviting rim. It was wet with slick and the alpha groaned at the tightness and clenches of muscles. Jimin was eager to have him in and hooked his heels in the mattress, stabilizing his body.

“Please, alpha. Want to be yours,” Jimin muttered, glancing at Taehyung with a soft, loving gaze. The alpha had never seen Jimin this gentle and pliant, it made him feel a new type of way. Jimin wouldn’t allow himself to be in this state with some random alpha. He was with Taehyung, underneath him and happily taking his deep thrusts.

“Did you mean it?” Taehyung asked, kissing the omega’s neck, in the same spot that he previously bit, “Do you like me?”

“So much,” Jimin answered, tightly circling his arms around the alpha’s shoulder blades. “So much,” he repeated and added, “I can’t stop thinking about my alpha. I’m sorry that I can’t just be with you and that I didn’t tell you. I don’t know what to do but I want to be yours, alpha.”

Taehyung listened and sighed, picking up the pace of his hips. He pushed into Jimin with more intention, smiling whenever the omega’s moans got to a higher pitch. Jimin’s heart was beating quickly, but steadily. His head was full of Taehyung and the alpha could feel how genuine it was. Jimin cared about him and was right here with him, instead of running away in fear. Was Jimin really ready to risk it all and let himself be Taehyung’s? But could Taehyung forgive the omega everything that Jimin had done to him?

“Alpha, you’re the best,” Jimin panted. His stomach was tensing up whenever the alpha hit his prostate and the warmth present in Taehyung’s heart kept rapidly growing. Jimin was all his. Taehyung wanted that. He needed the omega in his life. He was the one person that made him happy and made him forget about who he really was. Taehyung was more than a gang leader and it seemed like Jimin was the only one to notice it, despite of their loose relationship.

“Baby,” Taehyung muttered, getting lost in the way his head was spinning around the thought of having Jimin. The omega meant so much to him and Taehyung sped up, wanting both of them to reach their releases. Maybe Jimin would change his mind? Tell Taehyung everything and the alpha would forgive him? Their feelings could overcome the betrayal, right?

Jimin moaned, clenching around Taehyung. He stayed put, waiting for the alpha’s knot to grow and settle inside of him. Taehyung began spilling cum into the omega, filling him up. They were locked with each other for the next long minutes and Taehyung moved his head, connecting their lips.

“My darling,” he kept whispering, kissing Jimin and licking over his plush lips, trying to imprint their shape and taste in his mind, just in case he’d lose it.

“Alpha,” Jimin blinked, slowly coming back from his submissive state.

“Talk to me. Tell me about your boss. Tell me why you’re going to rat me out,” Taehyung said desperately, attacking Jimin’s lips with more eager kisses, trying to either have the omega confess or stop his rejection.

“No,” Jimin refused quietly, near tears. He couldn’t tell Taehyung who he was. Frankly, Jimin didn’t know who he was anymore. But revealing his purpose at the club wasn’t an option.

The alpha scowled. His devastation was obvious and Jimin felt even worse when Taehyung pulled out, the moment the knot deflated.

“Dress up and leave,” the alpha said, turning his head not to look at Jimin.

“Don’t,” Taehyung answered coldly, “Leave before I hurt you.”

“Alpha,” Jimin whimpered.

“Don’t make me change my mind. Get the fuck out when I still have some sentiment left towards you.”

Jimin shivered. He knew that if he listened to the alpha right now, their story was over. But Jimin couldn’t do anything else. His heart was bleeding, and his legs were shaking when he dragged himself towards the door.

“At least you know how I truly feel about you,” Jimin whispered, turning his head to look at the alpha, “I’m so sorry. I wish I was just a stripper.”

Taehyung scoffed and pointed at the door. He wasn’t even going to try and show anymore remorse or pity. It was game over.

Jimin didn’t want to play his luck anymore. He left and only once he reached the elevator, he rested his back against it. Jimin hid his face behind his palms and breathed out unevenly. What the fuck just happened? How did he go from happily in love to heartbroken within hours? Was it even fixable?

Probably not. Taehyung wasn’t merciful. Jimin should probably be glad he came out of this alive.

Jimin woke up the next afternoon and wasn’t quite sure how to behave. He had a working night ahead of him, but what if Vante was at the club? Jimin had no idea how to react if he encountered the alpha or saw him from the stage. They got into quite a fight and Jimin spent a few restless hours, staring into the distance or crying. That was why he only woke up at six pm, ending up with some time to shower and eat before heading to the club. Truth was, he didn’t want to go. He was afraid of that place now that Vante knew about his intentions and then, basically broke up with him. Jimin knew they weren’t really a couple to begin with, but they admitted there was more to them and naturally started drifting into that direction, hoping to become something strong. Sadly, Vante found out at the wrong time and all of that wishful thinking went to shit.

Jimin realized that he had messed up. He shouldn’t have tried to retrieve files when Vante was waiting for him, but he needed to deliver them and ended up without a different choice. The omega underestimated the alpha, because he had no idea about Vante being that controlling with his business. He seemed quite laid-back and busy with other things, rather than the club itself. But no, his hand was on the pulse always and Jimin failed to see that.

Jimin sighed and put down his coffee. It was time to go and he really had no clue about how the night would go. Maybe Vante would just be ignoring him? But that would hurt. Jimin wanted the alpha and just the thought of him treating the omega like thin air, made Jimin tear up. He couldn’t cry because of his immaculate make up already carefully applied on his face. Jimin had to suck it up and be tough. Pretty much that was how his entire life went.

Jimin got to the club a little bit later and nodded his head at the security standing by the employee door. They always guarded it during the night, considering that someone could try and break in to steal money or information. Jimin got the job under a fake identity, that was why his background check wasn’t suspicious. But now, he feared that Taehyung had told them something about him.

Jimin sighed and headed towards the door with his employee ID in his hand, ready to scan it. One of the alphas stared him down and shook his head, “You’re not coming in anymore, Chim.”

“Excuse me?” Jimin frowned.

“Boss told us that you won’t be welcome inside anymore. He found a different stripper to take your spot.”

Jimin’s lips parted and he tried to stay composed. Of course, Vante cut him off. Why didn’t Jimin even consider that he’d get fired? He was stealing from the club, obviously he wouldn’t be let in anymore. Jimin was a fool to believe Vante would ignore him. No, he completely shut him out of his life and prevented Jimin’s second boss from getting what he wanted.

Jimin’s whole world began crashing down again. Why couldn’t his life be simple? Why did Jimin choose to suffer so much? He was hurting, just staring at the door that would never lead him into work. He actually enjoyed stripping and drinking between the stage performance and private room. Wouldn’t the alphas miss him? What was Jimin going to do now? His entire schedule and plans got cancelled.

Jimin needed a warm hug, but there was no one in his life that could do that for him. He was alone. No loved one, no family and no friends. Jimin barely took any time to think before he blurred out, “Let me see the boss. He can’t just fire me without an explanation.”

The alpha laughed and answered, “I don’t think you realize what type of a place this is. You should be glad you’re free to walk off. Usually when someone gets fired, they end up in a different situation.”

Jimin glared at him and took a step back. He wanted to see Vante. He needed to talk to him so badly, even if it would end up with both of them parting ways again. It had only been a day and Jimin already missed the alpha so much.

“Fine,” Jimin sniffled, looking away, “I’ll just leave. I have no reason to cause a scene.”

“We’ll miss you shaking your ass for us,” the alpha chuckled, “You were a good one.”

“Fuck off,” Jimin muttered, walking off.

The alley was even darker than usually because one of the lamps wasn’t working. Jimin shivered and wrapped his hoodie tighter around himself. He didn’t even know where to go. Home? And what later? He wished he could just disappear. It would hurt less.

“What are you going to do now?”

Jimin trembled and quickly turned around, trying to locate where Vante’s voice was coming from, but the alpha must’ve been standing under the broken lamp. Jimin’s eyesight in the dark was great, as a werewolf’s, but he was only able to see the alpha’s tall silhouette.

“Isn’t ratting me out your only option now?” Taehyung asked, taking a step upfront.

Jimin gasped when he saw the alpha in tight jeans, high boots and a long dress coat. Taehyung looked so handsome and successful. Jimin had to stop himself from running right towards him to demand a hug. They weren’t like that with each other anymore.

“Surely, you won’t do that to me, huh, Minie?” Taehyung smirked, crossing his arms over his chest. He was watching the omega curiously. Was he faking his scared scent? Or was he genuinely afraid of Taehyung and his honest words right now?

“You wouldn’t cuff up someone you like,” Taehyung said, walking and stopping right in front of Jimin. He put his finger under the omega’s chin to make him lift up his face. Their eyes met and Taehyung continued, “If you cuff me up, you’ll never see me again. We don’t want that, right?”

“You made me leave anyway,” Jimin whispered, blinking to keep tears away.

“Because you won’t talk to me,” Taehyung shrugged, “It was your choice.”

“You’d keep me if I have told you?”

“Of course,” Taehyung answered, stroking his finger under the omega’s chin. “I love you as much as you love me.”

Jimin’s breath hitched and he looked at the alpha wide-eyed.

“But,” Taehyung chuckled, “I won’t let you near since you’ve decided to ruin me. But, keep in mind, that if you put me in jail, you won’t ever have a chance to have me. We’ll never be together, and you won’t get a kiss or a hug or whatever you’re craving. Only I made you feel how you dreamed of, and if you get rid of me, you’ll deprive yourself of it. Are you actually ready to lose your fantasy?”

Jimin bit on his lip and stared at Taehyung pleadingly. Why was he being so cruel? Obviously Jimin wouldn’t have taken his chance of happiness away from himself. That was why he hadn’t ratted out Vante yet. He wanted to keep him. It was just a hard decision to let go of his entire research and hardships to even track down the alpha in the first place. Jimin dedicated his life to it, so how was he going to just give it up? But he wanted to be loved and cherished and to belong to someone. Vante gave all of that to him without a second thought. Wasn’t it meant to be?

“I shouldn’t stay silent,” Jimin answered, quietly and shakily, “And I won’t promise you that I will.”

Taehyung smiled evilly and nodded, taking a step back. He reached out and pointed at the empty alley, leading towards the main street where Jimin could catch a taxi or a bus. Clearly, the omega was meant to leave now. For good.

Jimin took a last glance at Vante. He’d miss him so much. He was in love with him, without even knowing his name. But did he actually need it? Vante was his, and he could just be called alpha. Jimin barely noticed when that stopped being an issue to him. He accepted so many quirky or dangerous things, just to be Vante’s. And now all of it was finished. Jimin whined and rubbed his hand over his eyes, smudging the eyeshadow and liner. He turned around and quickly left, not looking back again. Vante was history from now on.

“We’ve got a decrease in profit,” Namjoon sighed, setting some papers down. He was sitting by the table with his boss and Taehyung quirked up his eyebrow at him.

“Why is that?”

“Well, boss, let me be honest with you,” Namjoon said, leaning in, “You’ve let Chim go and he was the favorite. Our guests aren’t happy with his absence and won’t leave as much money here anymore.”

“He had to go for personal reasons,” Taehyung shrugged. He didn’t tell his employees about Jimin’s second life. He wasn’t sure why, but he didn’t want the omega to be targeted. Just in case, Jimin decided to tell him the truth and stay with him. Taehyung couldn’t help being soft towards Jimin. He was the first omega to see more of him than a ruthless gang reader.

“I have to find someone as good as him now,” Namjoon answered, “so, I apologize if we see a decrease for a bit longer. I’ll try my best, boss.”

“That’s fine. Focus on the sexual pleasures that we sell rather than a dancer,” Taehyung ordered.

“Of course,” Namjoon bowed his head.

“Also, I need Chim’s documents, can you deliver them to me? I have to make sure he stays silent about what is going on here,” Taehyung winked, gulping down a drink.

“Yes, I’ll send them to you from my office.”

“Thank you. You’re dismissed now.”

Namjoon got up from the table and headed towards the employee hallway. The night hasn’t even started yet, so there were no guests nor strippers around. Vante liked sitting by the bar all alone, though. He always stayed nearly frozen, deep in thought. Lately though, he smelled sad. Namjoon knew Taehyung for a few years now, and even if he didn’t consider them friends, he could feel that something was wrong. Vante didn’t say much about himself or show emotions, other than some humor. He wasn’t able to control his overall aura, though. His scent was down and that was confirmed. It came from the heart, that even Taehyung had. Could it have something to do with Chim? And was the omega even alive?

Namjoon shook his head from the thoughts and kept walking. Whatever was Taehyung’s problem, he wasn’t going to open up about it anyway.

Taehyung stroked his finger over his chin. He had been thinking about a certain someone every day of the past month. They weren’t even a couple, yet Taehyung was mesmerized by the omega. He was angry that he let himself get played, but if already developed some sort of feelings, shouldn’t he fight for Jimin? The alpha was deeply fascinated by the omega, because no one else managed to wake up his heart or softer side. Jimin did it effortlessly and to Taehyung, that was going to bother him until the omega was his or dead. Taehyung couldn’t bear the thought of Jimin just walking around without him and doing what? Why was Taehyung still a free man when Jimin had evidence to put him behind bars? The alpha didn’t like having no control over his own situation and Jimin knowing everything about him was far too dangerous. Taehyung had to deal with it, even if it meant putting his feelings on hold.

“Are we ready to go?” Taehyung asked, looking at the alphas hurrying around him.

“Yes, boss,” Namjoon bowed. Slowly, he was becoming Taehyung’s right hand and wasn’t only the manager of the club anymore.

Taehyung nodded, getting up. He had a plan for the day. The type of idea that for the first time, he wasn’t sure if he was going to be able to come through with. That was why, he needed to bring along some of the members. With them, he never showed kindness or even mercy. It would be perfect.

Park Jimin had to either talk to him or be silenced for good. Quite frankly, Taehyung had thought that the omega would have come to his apartment, ready to be honest and make the alpha his. Jimin loved Taehyung, and after the alpha had him submitted that one time, he knew it was true. Taehyung had the same emotions towards the omega, but he wouldn’t allow his entire career and accomplishments fall just because of feelings.

Jimin ended up showing himself as someone tough and stubborn. He gave up Taehyung in the name of what? The law? Taehyung scoffed and rolled his eyes. He hated knowing that Jimin was more than a stripper. The alpha would gladly continue being deceived while having the omega.

Taehyung and the members left their base a little later. They shared one car and drove through the empty streets of Seoul. It was around eight pm and the moon was high up on the sky, but there were no stars in sight. The city never had them, because it was too condensed with lights. Taehyung sighed, remembering the months he spent in isolation, a time during which he was coming up with a genius plan on how to become South Korea’s most successful, and also, most wanted man.

Jimin turned off his TV and yawned. Lately, he hadn’t been doing much. He stayed home, searching through the data that he had collected at the club over the past few months. He hadn’t done much in his life, other than that. Jimin had nowhere to go and nothing to do. He was still debating about whether to reveal the truth about Vante or not. Sure, they weren’t together right now but Jimin was free to choose if he wanted the alpha or his plan. And what was Jimin going to pick? He didn’t know. That was why he stayed at home, doing nothing.

Jimin went through his heat just a few days before and he still felt a bit vulnerable after it. Usually, he had some alpha help him but now that his heart and mind was full of Taehyung, he couldn’t let anyone else touch him. Jimin kept longing for Vante, crying and screaming whenever he was playing with himself. The heat was terribly painful and lonely. It left a mark on Jimin’s well-being and he stayed put, barely doing anything. He was fragile. For the first time, he truly felt powerless. He couldn’t believe he was in love with Taehyung to that extent.

Jimin fluttered his eyes a few times and got up from the couch, heading towards the kitchen. He turned on the kettle and rested against the counter, waiting for the water to boil. He thought of a dinner idea and figured he still had some rice in the cooker. He could heat up some leftover sauce and eat it together. Jimin wasn’t really in the mental or physical state to happily cook and devour big, healthy meals. Eating didn’t bring him any joy. Lately, he just existed.

Jimin stretched his back when he heard the water in the kettle bubbling, and he leaned over to turn it off. His hand suddenly fell from the counter and he looked at the door. He could smell something very familiar, also accompanied by other rough and unfriendly scents. What was going on?

Jimin’s breath hitched when he heard a small knock on the door. Why was Vante here? It had been a month since Jimin was denied access to the club. The strawberries and cigarettes scent kept seeping in through the cracks of the door and Jimin closed his eyes, holding in a whine. He was terrified of the leader finding his apartment and visiting him, but he also missed the alpha so much. How was he going to just look at him and stand face to face with him?

Jimin heard a second knock and quickly dismissed the idea of pretending he wasn’t home. Surely, Taehyung was able to smell him. The omega slowly walked towards the door and didn’t bother confirming who was there through the peep hole. The bitterly sweet smell was enough.

Jimin opened the door and stood frozen, locking eyes with no other than Vante, followed by three buff alphas right behind him.

“Park Jimin,” Taehyung smiled widely.

“Alpha,” Jimin breathed out shakily.

“May we come in? We just need to chat,” Vante explained, taking a step upfront.

Jimin jumped from the way, letting the alphas in. He was petrified of Taehyung touching him in order to get in. Jimin wasn’t sure about Vante not hurting him anymore. Here, he was standing proudly and coldly looking at the omega, as if he came over with a clear intention.

Jimin sat down on the couch and curled up his knees towards his chest. He rested his chin on his knees and kept glancing at Taehyung, who gestured the three alphas to put in ear-ins, that would block out sounds.

“It took me quite some time to track you out,” Taehyung said, lifting up one eyebrow. “You’ve barely been leaving your apartment.”

“I had no desire to go out,” Jimin answered, stubbornly staring at the floor. He knew why the alpha was here. Jimin’s time was suddenly counted.

“You’ve lied on your application. Your name, age and address are fake,” Taehyung pointed out, “It was so easy to believe that you’re only twenty one.”

Jimin breathed out and asked, “Can’t you just kill me? Why are you making me talk to you?”

“Because I’m going to miss you,” Taehyung smiled. “I’m trying to buy some time by making memories.”

“Memories?” Jimin chuckled coldly, “Of me sitting here scared of you and you teasing me? Is this what you want to remember about us?”

Taehyung frowned. He gestured the alphas to leave and they hurried towards the door. Only when the apartment had no one but the alpha and the omega, Taehyung cleared his throat. “I’m not pleased with seeing you like this,” he admitted. “But you’ve given me no choice. I can’t have you walking around and knowing some of my secrets.”

“But I haven’t been going anywhere,” Jimin said a bit whiningly, “you allowed me to live. Why are you changing your mind?”

“Because I like to have things my way. You’re either mine or you can’t be around.”

Jimin’s eyes got wet and he slid his palm across them. He looked at the alpha and huffed out a small breath. “Fine, then. Here, kill me. I won’t fight back.”

“I know you have a knife in your sleeve,” Taehyung smiled dumbly.

Jimin’s lips parted and he quickly slipped the blade out, holding it pointed at Taehyung. The alpha held in a giggle and came closer, crouching down in front of the omega. The small knife was the only thing putting a distance between their bodies.

“Go for it, Jiminie,” Taehyung encouraged, “you’ll give me a reason to finish you without any mercy.”

Jimin’s hand trembled and he pushed the knife a bit forward. “I don’t want to hurt you,” he admitted.

“You won’t be able to anyway,” Taehyung shook his head.

Jimin’s eyes narrowed and he flicked his wrist, trying to teach the alpha a lesson. He hated cockiness. But Taehyung grabbed the knife between his fingers, making it slide between them without harming him. The alpha didn’t even have a scratch and Jimin looked at it, becoming angry. Should he start treating the situation seriously?

The omega took the second where the alpha was celebrating his triumph and pushed him, making him loose his balance. Taehyung quickly regained it and charged at the omega, pinning him down to the couch. The alpha was straddling the omega and they were looking at each other, short-breathed.

“You don’t stand a single chance,” Taehyung said, keeping his jaw clenched. “I don’t want to hurt you, but you’re making me use violence.”

Jimin laughed out loud and strongly shook his hips, trying to get the alpha off. Taehyung growled and leaned down, grabbing Jimin’s arms to pin them on both sides of his chest.

“You’re heavy,” Jimin complained.

“Stop fucking fighting me,” Taehyung said, putting more strength into the way he was holding the omega’s wrists.

“I don’t want to die,” Jimin screamed, becoming more eager to get away, “I didn’t work my ass off to find you and just die. I don’t want to, do you hear me? I’m not going to die because of a fucking gang like my parents did.”

Taehyung tilted his head, carefully staring at the omega, “your parents?”

“Let me go, you fucking psycho. It hurts,” Jimin whined. He managed to rip his hands out of the alpha’s hold, and he pushed his shoulders, trying to get away.

Taehyung groaned and lifted up his body, straddling the omega in a way that his weight wasn’t on him anymore. “Shut the fuck up, why are you screaming? I only held you because you wouldn’t fucking stop moving.”

“Why the fuck didn’t I publish my shit when I could’ve,” Jimin cried out, feeling powerless, “why did I let love blind me, you deserve jail.”

Taehyung clenched his jaw and glared at the omega, “what have I done to you today, huh? You’re only getting bruised up because you won’t listen to me. I thought you trusted me, you fucking idiot. I was going to give you one last alternative but you’re pissing me off.”

“Can’t believe I had feelings for you,” Jimin said bitterly, weakening under the alpha’s hold.

“Had?” Taehyung asked. “We don’t have a chance anymore?”

“Fuck you, Vante.”

The alpha’s eyes turned crimson and he snarled, “it’s Taehyung. My name is Kim Taehyung and it’s fucking clean. You never needed it, Kim Taehyung is from Daegu and lives there, owning a goddamn strawberry farm. All of my dirt is on Vante, what type of an incompetent detective are you, not to have found out that, huh?”

“Taehyung?” Jimin croaked out, his eyes becoming round.

“Yeah. Taehyung. Taehyungie, Tae, Taetae, whatever the fuck you prefer. He’s an innocent man, and you had no idea. What were you going to publish? What happened to your parents?”

Jimin stilled. He knew the alpha was trying to get information and at that point, when Jimin knew he was going to die anyway, he was done with staying silent. He couldn’t do it anymore. He was tired of hiding the truth and hurting himself by keeping Taehyung away. He was fed up with living a lie.

“My parents died because of your gang,” Jimin whispered, “the previous leader killed them because of a debt when I was only four. I had to grow up by myself. I’ve never done anything, I didn’t deserve that type of a life. I didn’t understand what had happened when my parents didn’t come back home one night. I just remember the police taking me to some house full of pups. I hated every fucking second of it, Tae. I didn’t have a single friend and got bullied and hit and all that type of shit. I just missed my mom. I missed getting a hug,” Jimin kept saying, letting tears stream down his face. He was laying underneath the alpha, given up on trying to save himself. “I had no one and I hated that place so much that I’ve escaped when I was fifteen. I heard the other kids talk about the rumor that my parents worked illegally and were a part of a gang. I promised myself to take revenge and find that alpha. I worked so hard to have any money to support myself and eventually I got hired by a magazine. I started writing some shit stories for them and I asked if I’d be able to publish an article of my choice one day. Just one. I was going to expose you and watch you get cuffed up for what you’ve done to me. You fucking ruined my life.”

“There’s just one issue with your logic,” Taehyung frowned.

“How fucking dare you?” Jimin whispered.

“I’m not that leader, darling. I’ve killed him to get my spot. I didn’t do anything to you. You’re not seeking revenge, you’re attacking me.”

“But it’s your mentality that ruins lives,” Jimin answered shakily, “you kill left and right, disobeying the law. Do you realize how many have been hurt because of you? How many pups are growing up the way I did? All because of your fucking irresponsible actions?”

“I’ve been abandoned by my parents,” Taehyung said, “I grew up alone too. But it made me stronger. It made you stronger too.”

“No,” Jimin sobbed, “it made me lonely.”

Taehyung sighed and shifted their bodies. He put the omega on his lap and hugged his waist. He really didn’t want to forgive Jimin, but could he watch the omega’s desperate cries?

“Fine, you felt lonely,” Taehyung agreed, “You’ve met me and decided to throw it away? Over a revenge that’s not even on me? I’m not the bad guy you want. I killed him, so it seems to me like you should be thankful.”

Jimin scoffed and nuzzled his nose into the alpha’s shoulder, holding on tightly to his body. “I just had this plan my entire life, I don’t want to let go of it. I have nothing else left to live for.”

“What about me? Don’t you want to live with me?”

Jimin quieted down and pulled back, looking at the alpha. Was he serious? Would he take Jimin back? Despite of everything that had happened?

“I can’t be with a gang leader,” Jimin said sadly, resting his cheek against the alpha’s. “You’re doing everything that has hurt me in the first place.”

“Yet you’re clinging onto me,” Taehyung replied, “I came here to kill you and now my only urge is to cuddle the shit out of you.”

“Tae,” Jimin smiled shyly, wrapping his arms around the alpha’s shoulders, “I can’t hate you when you’re being so affectionate.”

“I didn’t plan on ever being with anyone,” Taehyung said, “but I can’t stop myself with you.”

“I’ve missed you so much,” Jimin finally admitted, “You make me forget about all the pain that I’ve felt, but you also cause it for so many around the country.”

“You know, darling,” Taehyung muttered, “it’s okay to be selfish.”

“Selfish? Do you know how I’ve felt my entire life?” Jimin whined.

“Yeah. And now you’ll feel good. You won’t be alone anymore,” Taehyung answered, “no one pitied you when you were at the orphanage, right? No one gave a shit about you until I came along. So? Why would you keep thinking about others when clearly, they left you to deal with yourself on your own? Fuck them, Jimin. Everyone cares about themselves and their family, why are you trying to be so much better? It won’t bring you anything good. Would you rather lose your own happiness?”

Jimin’s lip wobbled and he replied, “I don’t want pups to hurt like I did.”

“You’re being irrational,” the alpha said, putting the omega on the couch next to him.

Jimin’s eyes instantly got glassy at the loss of Taehyung and he surged forward, grabbing the taller’s sweater. “Don’t go. I don’t want you to go.”

“Then decide what you want,” Taehyung answered bluntly, “I won’t be begging you. I keep giving you chances because I’m hoping you’ll finally pick me. But I have my limit, baby.”

Jimin stayed silent and took a good look at the alpha. His dark brown hair was longish, curling around his deep eyes. Taehyung’s face was sculped without a single defect and Jimin pulled his hand out, dragging his finger over the perfect lines. The alpha’s cheeks were full and were slowly becoming rosy. Taehyung could control the words leaving his mouth, but not the way his body reacted to Jimin.

Jimin’s heart fluttered when Taehyung bit on his lip, hiding a smile. He let the omega touch him and kept warming up at the feeling of affection. No one ever took their time to adore Taehyung. He was either needed for business or for a fuck. But there were so many layers to Taehyung and only Jimin was motivated enough to stay by the alpha’s side and try to read him. Taehyung felt grateful about that. He wanted to be adored just like anyone else.

“You don’t want to be alone anymore, right?” Jimin asked gently, cupping the alpha’s cheek.

“No,” Taehyung admitted in a faint whisper.

“What if I stay with you?” Jimin questioned, getting closer.

“What about your personal vendetta against me?”

Jimin giggled quietly and answered, “I think I’ll have to get over it. You need to show me that not all gang leaders are heartless.”

“But I am,” Taehyung frowned, closing his eyes when he felt Jimin’s breath ghosting over his lips.

“You’re just as damaged as me. You’ve got a heart, Tae.”

“Tae,” the alpha repeated, whispering. He hadn’t ever been called that. It sounded cute, the alpha liked it. He didn’t get to say it, though. Jimin already leaned in and connected their lips in a chaste, sweet kiss.

Jimin grabbed the alpha’s shoulders and pushed him towards the end of the couch, sighing contently when he got pressed into Taehyung’s chest. Their lips kept messily slopping against each other and their tongues were tangled up in their mouths. Taehyung arms were tightly wrapped around the omega’s waist and he set them lower, making Jimin arch his back.

The alpha breathed out and pulled a little back, asking “Where’s your bedroom?”

“Are we-”

“Where is it, darling?”

Jimin giggled and leaned back in, licking over the alpha’s lips. “There’s only one door, sweetheart.”

Taehyung groaned and got up, effortlessly lifting up Jimin between his arms. The omega circled his legs around the alpha’s hips and looked at him with a bright smile. Maybe they were going to be alright? Maybe, if Jimin learned to heal from his past demons, he’d be able to move on and simply be with Taehyung. The alpha was right. It was okay to be selfish. Jimin just wanted to be happy in life. He needed his constant struggle and pain to end. As inconvenient and unbelievable as it was, Taehyung was the reason that Jimin smiled.

The alpha pushed on the first door that he found, and it turned out to be a bedroom, just like Jimin said. It was a small room, had only a bed, wardrobe and a few decorations. There was nothing personal about the space. Knowing Jimin’s story, Taehyung could understand that.

“You know, for such a wealthy stripper, your place is fucking poor,” Taehyung said, dropping Jimin onto the bed.

“I don’t need anything more,” Jimin said, looking down. He felt shy. There was no lingerie, no Seoul view to give them some atmosphere. It was just him and the alpha, in need of deepening their feelings towards each other.

“Minie?” Taehyung asked, kneeling down in front of the bed.

“Huh?” Jimin asked, glancing at the alpha’s hands on his thighs.

“I don’t know how to do this properly. I’ve never had anyone make me feel the way you do. I don’t know romance and I might hurt you along the way or not meet your expectations. But you need to know that I care, and I’ll do my best to keep you happy. I’ll be the alpha worth of your love.”

Jimin’s eyes softened out and he moved forwards, resting his forehead on Taehyung’s, “sweetheart, I know. I’m going to cause you problems, but maybe we’ll be able to overcome it?”

“We will,” Taehyung confirmed, getting up in a swift movement and laying down right on the omega.

Jimin let the alpha shift them up to reach the pillows. The omega tilted his neck and Taehyung leaned down to leave a kiss on it. “No more submitting,” he said, “I like when you’re yourself.”

Jimin blushed intensely and answered, “It felt warm when I was yours. Felt like I was home.”

“I’ll make you feel that without a bite,” Taehyung muttered, kissing Jimin’s exposed neck and nuzzling his nose into it.

Jimin purred, writhing on the bed. He wanted to feel the alpha as close as possible. He was so afraid of making a choice but being with Taehyung just like this, on the sheets and with half taken off clothes, made him more ecstatic than anything else ever had. Taehyung slipped his hand under the omega’s blouse and stroked his fingers over the skin, “You’re warm,” the alpha said, fascinated, “So warm.”

Jimin giggled and opened his eyes wider when his palms got to slide over Taehyung’s naked back. It was so broad, slightly muscular, just like Jimin liked it. “And you’re beautiful,” he whispered.

“Not half as beautiful as you are,” Taehyung answered without hesitation, “You’re ethereal and all mine now. Darling, I’ll do anything for you.”

Jimin shivered and barely noticed when the alpha took off both of their bottoms. Jimin’s leggings were a challenge to slide off, yet the omega was so focused on watching the alpha, that he completely ignored how his body was lifted up and slightly moved.

Jimin’s thighs got wet with some slick and he moaned lowly when Taehyung’s fingers entered his rim. They weren’t saying much, but their actions were much more delicate, full of adoration and appreciation. Frankly, neither ever tried being so gentle, but this moment made them consider it. It was just the two of them, on a small, cheap bed with a lamp on, giving them only a tad of light.

“You’re so pretty, Jimin. I thought I had everything, but really, you’re so much more than anything money or power can buy me.”

The omega smiled widely and cupped the alpha’s cheeks, forcing him into a sweet kiss. “Keep being like this and I’ll ask you to mate me,” he joked.

“I will mate you,” Taehyung answered, “I’ll mate you or I’ll die. There is no other option.”

“Don’t even think about dying. I’m not going to lose someone dear to me again,” Jimin retorted, trembling just at the thought of being lonely again.

Taehyung stopped and pulled his fingers out of the omega. “I don’t have a condom with me. I only brought a gun.”

Jimin scoffed at the audacity and rearranged his body underneath the alpha, “I’m on the pill. And were you actually going to shoot me?”

“No,” Taehyung answered cutely, “I’d cry if I shot you.”

“Liar,” Jimin sighed, his head darting back the moment the alpha slipped his cock into him.

“I’ve never hesitated before a kill,” Taehyung admitted, “But with you, I couldn’t bring myself to push you, let alone send a bullet towards you.”

“My romantic criminal,” Jimin rolled his eyes and choked up on his breath when Taehyung purposely angled his hips to hit deep into him.

“You were saying?” Taehyung muttered, grazing his teeth over Jimin’s neck. He loved the soft skin and wanted to leave some marks on it. He began licking over it and biting it to bruise it. Jimin let him, closing his eyes and focusing on the slow rhythm of Taehyung’s thrusts.

“Are you still going to publish that article? Or show the police evidence?” Taehyung asked, happy with the mess of purple and yellow he left on Jimin’s neck.

“No,” Jimin hummed, “I’m going to make you leave this business and move somewhere with me.”

The alpha quirked up his eyebrow but stayed silent. This wasn’t the time to discuss their future. Talking to Jimin was a delight, but right now, they needed to come. Preferably, together. Taehyung sped up and kept repeatedly hitting Jimin’s sweet spot, making the omega moan out loudly. Jimin grabbed Taehyung’s waist and shut his eyes closed, feeling how his entire being burned up from the intense way their bodies were connecting. Taehyung was thrusting hard, holding Jimin’s hip to keep him steady. Usually, he liked playing around but just fucking Jimin was a different, new experience.

The sounds of their sex were loud and obnoxious in the room, yet they stayed hypnotized, staring into their eyes only. Jimin pursed his lips, asking for a kiss and Taehyung moved a bit down, granting his omega’s wish. Their open mouths touched and as soon as their tongues began dancing together, their stomachs tensed up.

Jimin was first to let himself go and he mewled, digging his nails into the alpha’s back. He knew he was going to leave marks on the skin, and he felt great about it. Taehyung followed up as soon as the omega began clenching around his cock.

“I love you,” Taehyung whispered, “what the fuck?” he giggled surprised, “I love you so much.”

“I love you too, Taehyungie,” Jimin said quietly, “And you made me feel warmer than submitting ever could.”

Taehyung’s breath quickened and he smiled, nudging his nose with the omega’s. “You’re just saying that because you’re full of a knot.”

“Maybe,” Jimin scrunched his nose.

“My darling,” Taehyung chuckled.

Jimin breathed out and squirmed under the sheets. He smacked his lips a few times and pressed himself harder into the alpha’s chest, sleeping deeply. Taehyung looked down when he felt the movement and smiled. Jimin was so cute and cuddly. They used to fall asleep barely touching, but after a few weeks, they couldn’t sleep other than tangled together.

The two have been dating for maybe two or three months, keeping their romance mostly between the sheets or in the tranquility of Taehyung’s penthouse apartment. Their situation or future plan wasn’t all that clear yet and they kept buying time by just being close and learning how to be together. Taehyung was quirky and Jimin was needy, but none that was a problem. Taehyung liked to spoil Jimin and Jimin liked being surprised by whatever crossed Taehyung’s mind. They had a nice, healthy thing going even if they were nowhere near a stereotypical couple.

“This is so stupid,” Taehyung whispered, wrapping his arm around Jimin tighter, “But I think you’re my soulmate.”

Jimin purred at that, despite being focused on his dream. His wolf could feel the alpha’s words and affection, so it reacted to it. Jimin’s mind didn’t need to be present.

Taehyung sighed, closing his eyes. Jimin’s body was draped on top of his, there was no way he could get up without disturbing the omega. Seemed like, he was stuck for the next minutes. He took his time to watch Jimin, the gentle slope of his nose and his full lips that were pursed, as if waiting for kisses. Maybe that would be a nice wake up?

Taehyung’s lips curled up in an evil smile and he moved a little, leaning his face towards the omega’s. He placed his mouth on Jimin’s and began gently kissing the omega, hoping he’d reciprocate.

Jimin wasn’t responding for a while and Taehyung groaned in annoyance. Why was his boyfriend such a sleepyhead? Suddenly though, Jimin’s lips started eagerly moving, kissing the alpha with eagerness. The omega wrapped his arm around Taehyung’s shoulder and brought him lower, making their chests touch.

“Good morning,” Taehyung whispered, pulling back.

“It’s dark out,” Jimin muttered, cupping the alpha’s cheeks.

“It’s morning in our dictionary,” Taehyung corrected himself with a chuckle, “I need to work today, though. So, let’s at least eat together?”

“You’re leaving?” Jimin asked, opening his eyes only to give Taehyung a sad puppy stare.

“I might be a fool in love now,” Taehyung admitted, “but I’m still myself.”

The omega pouted. Lately, he had been trying to talk to the alpha and figure out a way they could both be happy. Jimin didn’t like basically living as Taehyung’s sugar baby. He wanted to be someone, even if his ultimate goal in life was kind of accomplished. Besides, Jimin wasn’t keen on what Taehyung did for a living, and he wasn’t really hiding it either. Taehyung knew it, but he didn’t really see any alternative.

“Can I cook for you then?” Jimin asked, trying to buy some time. He liked how the alpha would come around the kitchen to watch him, or wrap his arms around Jimin’s waist, swaying their bodies near the stove. Taehyung was a terrible cook and Jimin made him food nearly out of pity. He didn’t want his boyfriend to live off take-out, when he loved homemade meals so much.

“Would you?” Taehyung hummed, never forcing the omega to do any work.

“Mhm,” Jimin smiled, giggling when Taehyung leaned down to scent him, “You have to eat well before a night of work.”

“Thank you, baby,” Taehyung sighed, cuddling into the omega’s shoulder, “Don’t want to get out of bed,” he muttered.

“Then why did you wake me up?” Jimin frowned.

“I needed company.”

“You’re a maniac,” Jimin rolled his eyes.

“At least yours. I don’t accept a return anymore.”

Jimin laughed and hugged the alpha. Their bodies were separated only by the thin sheets. They liked to sleep naked, since usually they’d have sex before drifting off. Their bodies were no secret to each other anymore and they enjoyed the feeling of skin to skin it gave them.

“Come on, get up. I won’t have enough time to make anything tasty,” Jimin scolded, patting the alpha’s shoulder.

“Make me,” Taehyung groaned, lazily swinging his leg over Jimin’s hip, caging him.

“I’ll suck you off before you go,” Jimin whispered, kissing the shell of Taehyung’s ear.

The alpha’s scent perked up and he moved his body, finally sitting up on the bed. The sheets covered only his lap and Jimin looked at his boyfriend’s body. Taehyung was a bit too thin for his liking. Jimin needed to feed him more and better food. The alpha didn’t take much care of himself, usually he was too busy with his gang. The omega wanted to change that. Seeing Taehyung’s firm stomach was sexy, but Jimin hoped his alpha would get a little chubbier and buffer. Slow steps, though. Jimin was ready to fix him up.

“Taehyungie?” Jimin asked, swiftly getting closer and hiding his face in the alpha’s shoulder.

“Yes, baby?”

“Are you okay with noodles?”

“Anything is perfect,” Taehyung smiled, sighing when he felt Jimin’s shy scenting. They began taking care of their scent glands only a few weeks after they started dating. It was a big step for them and now, it felt natural.

“Okay,” Jimin whispered, giving the gland a firm kiss. He pulled back and hopped off the bed, picking up a random shirt from the wardrobe. Of course, it was the alpha’s. Taehyung raised his eyebrow, watching how Jimin swung his hips, covered by only the thin material of clothing that belonged to the alpha and smelled just like him. Was Taehyung dreaming? Or was this seriously his life these days? Suddenly hook ups were uninteresting. No one gave him as good sex as Jimin. No one ever cared about Taehyung as much as Jimin did and it reflected through everything in their daily life. No one could soothe Taehyung like Jimin, and no one could tame his curiosity like the omega did.

Taehyung left to the bathroom and joined Jimin in the kitchen soon after, freshly washed up, with only a pair of sweats on, hanging low on his hips. Jimin purred, feeling his boyfriend’s warm chest pressed up against his clothed back. The omega was busy stirring some black bean sauce and Taehyung looked over his shoulder.

“Have you been receiving any weird looks outside? Anyone following you?” Taehyung asked. He pressed his nose into the omega’s black hair, still trying to get used to the new color.

“No, I haven’t noticed anything,” Jimin answered, pursing his lips.

“Are you sure?” the alpha pressed.

“It’s not like you’ll call off my personal bodyguard anyways.”

“I have to be sure you’re safe,” Taehyung replied, “We’ve faked your death and you’ve altered your appearance, but that doesn’t mean that your old boss won’t be looking for you.”

“I know,” Jimin sighed, “but I don’t want to live like this all the time, Tae.”

“Then, what do you want us to do?” Taehyung questioned, pulling back and resting against the counter. He felt like they needed to look at each other while having this conversation.

“Leave,” Jimin said simply, “there’s nothing holding us in Seoul. You have enough money to support both of us. I have my savings too. We don’t have to stay here, in constant fear that someone will either find you, or me.”

“I don’t want to leave the gang,” Taehyung frowned, “what else am I going to do with myself?”

“You can actually own a strawberry farm,” Jimin mocked and Taehyung rolled his eyes at him. “You know I don’t like what you do,” Jimin added, “Then why continue? Figure out anything else you want to do during your life, and we’ll move, ready to start a new life.”

“I’ve always wanted to have an art gallery,” Taehyung admitted, “I love art.”

“Then what’s stopping you?” Jimin asked, “You have the funds to start a business.”

“But it’s so boring, darling. I don’t know how to have a regular life.”

“How are we going to start a family if every time you go out, I’m worried whether you’ll come back?”

Taehyung groaned, playing with his own hair. He knew Jimin had a point and since the beginning of their relationship getting serious, he realized that the omega would make him leave his lifestyle. Nevertheless, it was tough for Taehyung. He used to have a tough mentality, that made him selfish and cruel. Yet, with Jimin he was finding out what it was like to feel. Taehyung was genuinely happy and nearly carefree each time he fell asleep wrapped around Jimin. He didn’t have to hug a pillow anymore. Jimin was right there at his reach.

“You know I don’t want pups,” Taehyung shrugged.

“Fine,” Jimin hummed, “but you won’t even let me go shopping without two alphas following me around. You make me dye my hair black and wear a mask whenever I step outside. I keep agreeing, but only because it’s temporary to me. I’m not going to live like this, Tae. I can’t accept you killing and hurting, even if you took revenge on the one that murdered my parents.”

“But doesn’t that make me destined for you?” Taehyung asked coyly, coming closer to the omega. He circled his arms around Jimin’s waist and separated him from the stove. “I’ve done what you wanted to do. Then, you decided to just switch your plan and end me but turned out that I’m exactly your type. You know we’re soulmates too. I can’t just change so easily, Jimin. You need to give me some time.”

Jimin whined, giving up. Each conversation always ended the same way. The omega understood it and could see the sincere tries and improvements the alpha was going through, but of course, it wasn’t enough. Were their feelings strong enough to keep going, though? Taehyung needed to make sure of that.

“Promise me,” Jimin said, slightly hitting his fist on the alpha’s chest, “that one day, we will move and start fresh.”

“Or?” Taehyung asked.

“Or I’ll run away. I love you and I’m patient enough to give you time, but I need to hold on to any hope. My life completely changed when I agreed to be yours. You should think of that too. I’ve given up a lot to be with you and we should be fair about this. I’m not being unreasonable when I’m telling you to switch careers. Kim Taehyung is a clean man, you told me you can leave the country with your own passport in your hand.”

Taehyung sighed loudly and nodded, defeated. “I know. I’m not blaming you for anything.”

“You’re so stubborn. Why is that hot?” Jimin wondered, leaning in to nudge the alpha’s nose and give it a kiss. He did the same to the mole under Taehyung’s eye and the alpha chuckled, nearly pushing the pot on the stove with his back.

“Anything I do is hot, darling,” Taehyung winked, growling playfully when Jimin moved him out of the way.

“Shut up,” Jimin muttered, “you’re annoying me.”

“That’s a sign of true love,” Taehyung answered, “You can’t stand me, but you’re still by my side. I truly own your heart.”

Jimin looked at him with a confused face expression and decided to ignore it. Taehyung loved being cheekily romantic or cheesy. His softer side was yet to be discovered and for now, Jimin was enjoying the affection and pure moments. He knew Taehyung was trying his best and as long as Jimin felt loved, they were going to be okay. Nothing was an unsolvable problem if they worked on it together.

Jimin was pacing around the apartment nervously. Taehyung should’ve been home two hours ago, and he gave the omega no information about his whereabouts. Jimin was losing his mind, considering the alpha was traveling back home from London. He groaned when his call was rejected again and sat down on the couch, shaking. It had been three years since they left Seoul and moved to New York, yet Jimin’s fear of Taehyung getting caught, never left. The alpha was barely linked to any illegal activity anymore, however old enemies never slept and Jimin was concerned whenever the outcome of Taehyung’s plans varied from the predicted result.

Jimin was about to call again when he heard the keycard being swiped at the front door. He jumped up and charged towards the hallway, nearly falling into Taehyung’s arms.

“I’m going to kill you,” Jimin whispered, “where the fuck is your phone?” he asked, moving away and slightly punching the alpha’s chest.

“Baby, I’m sorry,” Taehyung whined, letting the omega smack him, “my phone smashed in the plane and then we were delayed, and I couldn’t find my driver at the airport.”

“Smashed?” Jimin questioned, pursing his lips.

Taehyung smiled a little and pulled out his phone, showing the omega that indeed, the screen was full of cracks. “It fell out of my pocket,” Taehyung sighed.

“You have a second phone,” Jimin accused, crossing his arms over his chest.

“Yes, it died, and you know I always forget to charge my power bank. You’ve been scolding me about it for the past three years.”

“You’re making up excuses,” Jimin frowned, taking a step back.

“Are you glad I’m home or not?” the alpha asked, looking at his boyfriend fondly.

“What do you think?” the omega muttered sulkily, heading towards the living room.

“You’re not being super affectionate today, hmm?” Taehyung hummed, running towards the omega to stop him and back hug his smaller body, “It’s one of those days?” he whispered, his voice full of care but also a hint of tease.

“You just got me so worried, you idiot,” Jimin complained.

“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry that I’ll do anything for you tonight.” Taehyung said, kissing his omega’s neck and scenting it.

Jimin instantly weakened in his boyfriend’s hold and leaned back. His chest began rumbling with a loud purr and he moved his neck to give the alpha more room. “We’ve missed you so much,” he said quietly.

“I’ve missed you too. A week away from you is too long,” Taehyung admitted, hugging Jimin even tighter. He truly felt home whenever the omega was between his arms. He fit perfectly.

“I made you dinner,” Jimin changed the subject, speaking still with his eyes closed and high on the alpha’s pheromones, “can you eat it even if you’re not hungry?”

Taehyung chuckled and answered, “I haven’t eaten in hours.”

Jimin smiled and pulled away from the alpha, “then let’s go. I’m going to feed you so well.”

Taehyung followed Jimin towards the kitchen and rested against the counter, watching his omega heating up some food for him. He remembered how they used to do this in their apartment in Seoul. Years passed and yet the couple was just bonded more strongly and so, so used to each other. Taehyung loved the way he knew everything about the omega yet Jimin never failed to surprise him. They started a new life in New York some time ago and they never looked back at their beginning. The alpha owned a chain of art galleries and the omega became a writer. He had published two books already. Jimin mostly worked from home or enjoyed sitting in cafes, watching the busy life of the city. New York reminded him of Seoul a lot, but he didn’t miss South Korea. The sentiment within him was present, however too much happened there and made the omega resent it a bit. Seoul was the place he was alone at, hoping to get revenge and eventually have a normal life. But no, he met a gang leader and fell head over heels for him, beginning a journey full of love and not a day passed by that Jimin felt lonely. He was always Taehyung’s and could depend on him.

“How’s the book going?” Taehyung asked.

Jimin pushed a mug full of tea into the alpha’s hands and answered, “I’m still thinking about the best possible ending of the story. I used to be a reporter, not a writer per se. So, this is hard for me.”

“Did you forget the months you used to be a stripper? Darling, you shook your ass like your life depended on it,” Taehyung joked.

“Because it did,” Jimin retorted and glared at the alpha, “I made so much money on those idiot alphas, it was worth it.”

“You have a kink for being watched,” Taehyung answered, stepping closer towards the omega, “And all the times we’ve fucked around the city proved it.”

Jimin shivered and he bit on his lip, looking away. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“Really?” Taehyung asked, setting the tea aside and putting both of his hands on the counter, caging the omega between them.

“You’re more of a show-off than me,” Jimin whispered.

“No,” Taehyung’s lips curled up, “Not at all. I love fucking in my own bed.”

Jimin whined needy and he felt some slick drip down, right into his leggings. He hated how easy to rile up he had become. The past months, he lost his game completely.

Taehyung sniffed out the leak and laughed, diving towards the omega’s lips. “If I had known you’d get this eager so quickly, I’d-”

He didn’t get to finish because Jimin forced his tongue into the alpha’s mouth. They kissed messily for minutes, panting whenever they needed some air. Whenever they got close, time would stop, and their surroundings didn’t matter. Jimin’s mind was full of Taehyung and Taehyung’s head was filled with nothing but Jimin. His omega was so sweet, sexy and intelligent. He couldn’t have picked better. Jimin had caught his eye straight away and the more time they spent together, the more sure Taehyung was of them being soulmates. How come two abandoned pups found their ways towards each other? They were the type of phenomena that Jimin should be writing his book about.

Jimin licked over the alpha’s lips and pulled back, breathing heavily. “You owed me this,” he muttered, nudging their noses together.

“Owed?” Taehyung asked, getting endeared all over again. He couldn’t take his eyes off Jimin. His omega was glowing.

“For leaving us for a week,” Jimin sighed, “I need you.”

“We had video sex just two days ago,” the alpha chuckled, lifting up Jimin. He propped him onto the counter and stayed close. Taehyung tangled his fingers into the omega’s blond hair and began scratching, instantly calming down the fidgety omega.

“Not the type of need I meant,” Jimin complained and added, “but that too. I always need you inside of me.”

“I kind of already left something inside of you,” Taehyung joked.

Jimin’s lips parted and he giggled a second later. “How dare you call our daughter a something?” he asked, purring when the alpha’s hand landed on his swollen belly.

“She’s not really formed yet,” Taehyung frowned, stroking his finger over the stomach. “At four months she barely even has a face.”

Jimin rolled his eyes and answered, “but she’s growing and besides, she is ours. We made her.”

“Well, it’s on you. I didn’t want pups to begin with,” Taehyung shrugged.

“Just because I forgot to take my pills during our vacation does not mean it’s my fault. You’re the one who knotted me.”

“Darling, I always knot you because you beg me to,” the alpha scoffed.

“Fuck you, we’re having a baby and I don’t care if you want it or not. You’re going to be her dad,” Jimin said, his scent reflecting with anger.

“I was kidding,” Taehyung soothed, “you know I want her. I just wonder if she’d like to know how me made her on the beach in broad daylight because someone here couldn’t keep it in his pants.”

“I hate you, Taehyung.” Jimin snarled, pushing on the alpha’s shoulders.

“Is that how we’ll have all of our babies, Jimin? While being drunk and irresponsible?” Taehyung asked, backing away while laughing. He loved teasing the omega and seeing his narrow eyes.

“Shut up, no more dinner for you,” Jimin got upset, turning around to ignore the alpha.

“I’m hungry,” Taehyung said coyly, back hugging the omega yet again. “I’m the baby you need to feed, too.”

Jimin smiled, finally loosening up. He loved Taehyung so much, it was ridiculous. The alpha always knew exactly what to say to make Jimin giddy. Even when the omega’s hormones were going crazy, Taehyung was there to either stir it up or soothe it.

The alpha stroked his hand over the bump on Jimin’s stomach and sighed. They really were having a pup. At first, when Jimin told him, he couldn’t quite believe it. Him? A father? Sounded like a terrible idea. But with the amount of sex he was having with Jimin, they were bound to end up with a child. So be it, then. Their relationship was strong, maybe a baby would change their life for the better. There was never enough happiness. Perhaps, a pup was something they both needed. If they raised the girl right, she’d grow up loved and, in a family, something her parents lacked and craved desperately throughout the years, until they met each other.

“The food’s hot,” Jimin smiled, giving Taehyung’s lip a short kiss.

“You know what else is hot?”

“Don’t say it.”

Jimin snorted and shook his head. Was he really lucky enough to be happily committed to Taehyung? Seemed so. What a great life. And it could only get greater.

“I love you, soulmate,” Taehyung said quietly, kissing Jimin’s forehead.

“Love you too.”

“A lot?”

“Too much.”

Taehyung giggled and hugged Jimin, “of course, keep being feisty and I’ll teach you a lesson or two.”

Jimin smirked and hid his face in the alpha’s shoulder. “Please do,” he whispered.
