Summary
‘It is a secret ache, the want she bears like a bruise: for him to say her name again—slowly.’

Summary
‘It’ll be okay.’ Their foreheads touched; his voice was low and soft in his throat. ‘I’ll move the fucking earth to make it okay for you, Sansa—and for the kid, too. I love her bones. You know that.’
Or: Two years ago, Arya turned up on Jon and Sansa’s doorstep and left after a single, soul-aching conversation. Now they are gathered back together for a Stark family Christmas, where old wounds and new secrets threaten to collide. -

Summary
‘He works her, and she thinks of words: smaller and smaller words spinning up and up. Her bones feel like they are shaking; she feels tiny beneath his tongue. It is so good as to be almost unbearable, and he knows her body so well as to be able to draw her pleasure out, roll it thin. A knife, he is—so sharp it cuts cleanly, completely.’
A whiskey-tipped evening, featuring silver fox Jon. -

Summary
‘Come with me,’ he breathes. ‘Will you?’
Sansa tastes blood when he kisses her; the salt of it sticks to her teeth. Jon holds one side of her face entire in his hand, a thumb working some distant current along the line of her jawbone. (Like a penny spun, the way they circle one another—round and round till it at last collapses back in on itself.) She bites her lip, surges for his mouth again: salt, a tang of rust blooming coin-like and cloying across her tongue.
‘Yes,’ she says. ‘Yes.’
Jon and Sansa are bound together in a particular kind of life, however reluctantly. -

Summary
‘Something like a word, a name slips out of her mouth. Her soles shift away from the floorboards as she rocks up a little on her tiptoes. There is no laughter now, just the tip of his tongue settling on her pulse-point, his lips closing there a second later. Her limbs ache to unfold, to be held in his hands: spread and moved and fixed.’
Another [impromptu] one-shot, featuring silver fox Jon.

Summary
Welcome to my (accidental) ASOIAF modern au series!
It starts in very (un)conventional contexts. College. Professor. Postgrad. Word-games and a battle of wills. Coffee, cigarettes, bougie cafes, downtown dive-bars, bed with navy sheets, mild kink fast spinning into something more. NYC. LDN. Meeting the family. Loss and love and life and light. Angst and ache and sexual tension. Sweetness, too. Lots of that. Give it a shot. What have you got to lose? 🎓

Summary
Winter has come, the white winds blow — and the wolves have returned to Winterfell. Roughly sequential #Jonsa one-shots written out of order and collected chronologically here: from first kiss to dragon’s feast and beyond. All rated M for ease of flitting between them; actually a mixture of G and M. Also: please note that most of these were written at the height of my hyphen addiction phase, so expect to see twenty where you’d usually see two!

At winter's heart, the she-wolf and the storm-lord find warmth — life and love — with each other. Sequential works spanning from the night before battle to the ashes of its aftermath... Follows in-canon events; but the ending will be more sweet than bitter, have no fear.

Summary
Ned Stark and Nell Northwood: the wolf and his ward. A forbidden love borne of saltspray and storm and sealed by silver and song... or an AU where Ned isn't quite honour incarnate — and therefore not as prone to fits of mercy-madness that saw him killed in-canon.

There aren't knights in shining armor these days, but there are Forest Rangers in pickup trucks, which in her opinion are just as good.

hugr: what a person really is — the absolute essence, that which can leave the hamr behind.

Sansa doesn’t say it.
It’s at the tip of her tongue and the forefront of her mind, yet she cannot bring her lips to form the words, to unleash this naked and horrifying truth on the world.

“They shouldn’t joke about those things, because the truth is that all it would take is one word. Just one word from Sansa, and he would burn it all down, would end it all, the Targeryens be damned.”
