There’s a moving van parked in the driveway, the back open to form a ramp. The front door is slightly ajar. Mingyu exchanges a glance with Minghao as they climb the stairs leading up to the porch, feeling a sudden onset of awkwardness.
“They seem busy,” Minghao hisses. “Should we just leave these here?”
“What? No!” Mingyu says. “We promised we would say hi!”
“You promised you would say hi,” Minghao points out. “And then you just had to drag me into it-”
“Oh shut up, Seokmin was your friend too-”
“Can I help you?”
They whirl around, mouths hanging open, caught in the middle of an argument. At the bottom of the steps, a boy who is definitely not Seokmin stares up at them, clearly uncomfortable, a box half the size of his body in his arms.
Mingyu gapes. “Wonwoo?”
“Hey, Mingyu,” Wonwoo says quietly.(or: mingyu is in fifth grade when wonwoo moves away. he's in eleventh grade when wonwoo moves back.)

The ever so confident Yoon Jeonghan is training at Pledis Education to become a well known idol. ‘It must be easy for him, he’s so pretty!’ Those words are always surrounding him, and though he knows his peers mean well, he can’t help but feel like a fraud. He wasn’t nearly as talented or beautiful as half the students in the school, but he couldn’t simply voice these feelings. If only he had someone to talk to, someone who cared about his personality instead of his face.
Hong Jisoo, a shy boy, also goes to Pledis Ed for the same reason. Being a cutesy person has finally come in handy after years of torment from the fellow boys in his previous classes. However, his reserved demeanor did little to help him properly socialize, making him the class loner. He planned on keeping this role until his pretty classmate chooses to talk to him.
Neither would have guessed that the two of them would end up bonding over cute lunches.
