Upon arrival to New York, Shannon is informed that her aunt had died suddenly the day earlier. Per instructions, Carter's body was put in a tomb that could only be unlocked from the inside, and there was to be no funeral. Her attorney gives a personal journal of Sharon's for Shannon to read. Shannon hopes the journal her aunt left behind will explain Sharon's sudden death.

Summary
The Avatar has been gone for many years, lost in the war that the old Fire Lord Johann waged against the other nations. The war raged on for two decades, but came to an abrupt end with the Fire Lord's untimely demise. Fragile peace and balance settled over the world afterwards.
Seventy years passed since the Avatar's mysterious disappearence and everything changes when Tony Stark discovers the missing Avatar at the South Pole.

And then they meet, and Steve opens his mouth, and that accent nearly kills Tony. He makes Steve a bet - in six months, he can make even Anna Wintour think that Steve graduated from Phillips Exeter, and in return, Steve will let Tony sign him as a client.
Steve takes the bet, thinking he has nothing to loose.
And then he learns that the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain, that he could have danced all night, and that the world will still run without Tony Stark, but goddamn if he wants it to.
