    Summary

Madellaine Demiglisten, a low-income University student living in 2050 has always loved the tale of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. She picked up the half-forgotten novel in sixth grade and never put it down. So, when she's given the opportunity by her professor to go to 15th-century Paris for study, promised a full pardon from her debt if she stays in the past for three months, she's bewildered and enamored when she finds out that Quasimodo was not just a man of legend. He had been real.

Though Victor Hugo wasn't entirely reliable in his retelling of the bell-ringer's tragic fate.

    Summary

Paris is thrown into a world of chaos, magic, and wonder when a traveling circus comes to town, with its ringmaster seeking the city’s true prize: the infamous bell ringer of Notre Dame de Paris, a man of a kind and gentle repute, though known for his ugliness and status as something of a gentle giant haunted by the events of his dark past. Inspired by greed, the circus’s ringmaster, Sarousch, lures the lonesome bell ringer, Quasimodo, into his circus with the promise of a better life for himself.

He meets the ringmaster’s servant, a beautiful young blonde girl named Madellaine, and quickly forms a friendship with her as the pair work to unravel a grand conspiracy against the ‘outcasts’ of the world.

Faced with questions of love and loyalty to all that he knows, Quasi must work together with Madellaine to find a way to stop the villainous Sarousch before it’s too late.

A Long Fic. AU. Assigned to feared Judge Claude Frollo following an atonement for stealing, Madellaine de Barreau unexpectedly meets the judge's ward, Quasimodo, the infamous bell ringer of Notre Dame, and quickly forms a forbidden attachment to the man, with one minor caveat: she is already engaged to Phoebus de Chateaupers of the King's Guard.

A sort of re-telling of the first Disney Movie, with hints of the German musical here and there.

Madellaine reflects on her relationship with Quasimodo moments before her betrayal. A one-shot, told in 1st person POV, though I might make it longer in the future. An exercise in writing in the 1st person POV, something I've not really done yet. Please Read and Review if you enjoyed!
