Goro stands there, politely looking away as Akira coughs and heaves into the toilet. Despite the circumstances, Goro doesn’t find himself disgusted by the sight in front of him, and instead he’s hit with a wave of restless energy. Consumed by the need to do something and yet infuriatingly unable to do anything. His hands clench into fists so tight he can feel the imprint of his nails in the flesh of his palm.
It’s only when it finally seems as if Akira’s finished for the moment, clutching at the rim and trying to catch his breath, that Goro finally speaks.

And so he went home with pasta ingredients and alcohol, only to find out that his roommate, Byun Baekhyun, didn't go back home, after all.
They spent their Christmas Eve eating and drinking together. One drunken confession later and Park Chanyeol realizes his unrequited love for his roommate might not be unrequited after all.
