Summary
A collection of one-shots to combat my epic WangXian/MDZS feels. Each chapter is a pretty self-contained scene that wouldn't leave me alone until I wrote it. It ~might~ jump around in time as I write, but I'll make it clear which chapter takes place in which time! It's mostly (shameless!) smut if I'm honest, but also all the fluffy goodness a growing WangXian fan needs. Occasionally, I might write an angsty as hell piece and sob my way through it. We'll see! Anyway, enjoy!!

Wen Wuxian grew up an intelligent child, known for her endless curiosity and sharp tongue. It was what got her father's attention, but also what caused her ultimatum. Was it when she tried to manipulate her father? Was it when she first handled the resentful energy? Or was it when missed the curfew at Cloud Recesses?
It probably didn't matter when, if Wen Wuxian had to be honest. She had chosen her side, fully aware the heavy consequences that stood in her path.

Summary
Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng catch Nie Mingjue in his secret meeting with someone. Misunderstanding ensues, and Jiang Cheng has a lot of complicated feelings over some matters.Now that they could properly look at the pair’s backs, Wei Wuxian realized that it was a man, slight and shorter than Nie Mingjue. At a glance, he thought it was the Sect Leader Nie’s Deputy, Meng Yao, who was present during the orientation as part of the Nie Sect retinue, but oh… definitely not him.
Not when he familiarly hooked his arm with Nie Mingjue’s and stuck impossibly close to his side.
While apparently surprised at the sudden gesture, Nie Mingjue did not pull away, and if anything, he relaxed at the touch, a fond look cutting through his default serious expression that was missed by his companion.
Wei Wuxian found it simply endearing.

Summary
As Song Lan leaves Yi city as a resurrected, sentient corpse, with two spirit-trapping pouches and an extra sword strapped to his back, he does so without any particular plan of where to go. The only thought thrumming through his mind is that he must go, get away, get as far away from this horrible place as he possibly can. It becomes a journey in more ways than one, as Song Lan grieves and remembers a time long since gone by, all the while trying to heal the two souls in his care and desperately trying to find the strength to go on.
This is a story told in parts, the thread of Song Lan's journey intertwined with both the thread of Song Lan's and Xiao Xingchen's history as their relationship takes shape, and the thread of Xiao Xingchen's soul in the afterlife. There is grief, guilt and pain, but also a whole lot of first times, of learning to overcome fears and to trust. It is a story about love, about letting go and what it means to go on, but most of all, a story about home.
