He, the man who just a few weeks ago nearly set fire to his cabin because he got distracted by the crows outside the window, is a parent. Is responsible for a tiny little human. Holy shit. Not just him. He and Koutarou. He loves the man dearly but Koutarou is even more of a disaster than Daichi is.
They’re both responsible for a baby.
Daichi looks up at Asahi in a panic that Asahi, the jerk of a friend he is, laughs when he catches sight of Daichi’s face.

Daichi Sawamura has always been the perfect "empress"- a great political leader and partner of Emperor Ikejiri. However the emperor didn't simply want a partner so after he met another omega and had let his heart be successfully conquered; Emperor Ikejiri abandoned Daichi's affection and replaced him with another that was more responsive to his affections. Despite the humiliation of being replaced, Daichi continued his duties successfully until he heard of the emperor's plan to replace Daichi's position as empress to Yui. After careful considerations- he finally decides to respond to the flirtation of Prince Kuroo from the Nekoma Kingdom.

tldr: daichi volunteers to help bokuto through his heat. bokuto isn't sure that that's good for his heart

"You know any funny, clever, single guys to match me with then?" Bokuto asked, a hesitant smile on his face which was just so sweet paired with all the muscles and the crazy hair. Single, gay, and a genuine sweetheart too? The universe had manifested Kuroo everything he could have ever hoped for, wrapped in rippling muscle like a Greek god.
The universe had a horrible sense of humour, dropping someone like Bokuto on his doorstep now; a sweet, single guy who he got on with like a house on fire just when he'd lost all faith in his own relationships.
And besides, Bokuto was asking if he knew anyone else. Not about him. Kuroo couldn't let down someone like Bokuto. He was asking for help from his bro.
