Summary
Adrien, a teen model, sheltered by his abusive father, is given the chances of a lifetime in the forms of becoming a superhero called Chat Noir to fight against a villain named Hawk Moth, and going to school like a normal kid for the first time in his life.
Along the way, he learns the ways of the world and develops new friendships, including Nino, Kagami, and Luka, who become his closest friends as time goes on. He even falls in love with his mysterious partner, Ladybug, who is not interested in him that way but is still an important person in his life nevertheless.
When everything he's come to know at this point takes an unexpected turn, bonds are tested and changed in never before imagined ways as Adrien searches for the right thing to do, and learns to accept himself in the process.
(Basically a fix-it fanfic of Miraculous Ladybug, in which Adrien is the main protagonist, and characters besides Marinette are allowed to have screen time and develop).

After Hawk Moth’s supposed defeat, our two favorite superheroes now have to defend Paris against the attacks of another villain: Necro. In order to even have a chance against the latter, Ladybug decides to have Viperion join her and her partner’s team permanently, something Cat Noir isn’t too pleased about.
Though he perfectly understands how valuable of an asset this addition could be, he just feels like something is off about the guy, what with him always acting so snaky—pun absolutely intended—all the damn time. He didn’t know how to explain it exactly, he just knew that he didn’t particularly feel the urge to trust him with his life and whatnot.
And before you ask him, no, it had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Luka was dating Marinette. That would just be childish. And ridiculous. Cat Noir wasn’t jealous. He was happy for them. No, really.
Oh well, that sure ought to tweak up the dynamics of the famous (former) duo. Drama ensues… I mean, obviously.

Ladybug hadn’t meant to end up in the same alley as Chat Noir just as his transformation dropped. How will Marinette react, knowing that while Chat loves Ladybug, Adrien has been friend-zoning Marinette for years?
First part is the same as the short version, but Ladybug and Chat's conversation at the end of the short version ends differently here. This longer version includes more resolution (feelings, friendship, gradual love, and some things from the show that just bug me *cough* Chloe and Lila *cough*).
If you've read the short version, I suggest you skip to the end of Chapter 4 unless you really want to reread it - the last two paragraphs of Chapter 4 are where the differences start (it will be marked!)
